Frost Titan by WoodlandHermit Frost Titan by WoodlandHermit
My GK dread knight (1 of 2) is finally complete, i converted a few parts of it but not much. the pistons that should be above the arms were annoying me so i turned the shoulders into decorational chalices of fire, added some chains and green stuffed a loin cloth of sorts as i liked the effect it gave my scratch built one.

i used to hate these models but now i find myself loving it once the shoulder pistons are removed. the model would be better if you could pose its arms and legs more without having to do some heavy customization work but u cant have everything eh?

this is my 1st time uploading a multi image of sorts instead of uploading all images i took of each angle. so let me know if you think doing it like this works better.

hopes yall likes.

Another very nice model, and I think I agree about the pistons, and may do the same once I start working on my Grey Knights again.

well i did glue the pistons on at first, but aside from simply not liking them, they just didnt seem to make any real sense in being there.

i mean.. what can it not lift its arms without them? yet the wrist joints seem to need no additional support?

haha any way rant over i love the models without that bit :)

The videos I watched made me feel like the air brush was cheating hahah, this bloke rocked up the nicest looking power sword in 3 seconds because the blends just do themselves when you airbrush. X x x

Freaking awesome! I love the way you paint. Also, nice light effect and the lightings on the sword.
And nice addition on the chains of the cannon.

Yes, I do think this works very well...but my opinion is biased, of couse! XD
